We had the pleasure to try the new menu on the same day it was introduced. The culinary experience was absolutely wonderful for the price! The Chef's menu is really carefully crafted, it deserves kudos.
The same applies for the staff, very professional and friendly. The upstairs room offers more intimacy, and has a small terrace for smokers.
I hope I can soon return and enjoy more dishes, in this highly recommended place offering an incredible bang for the bucks, at least for the "Degustation Menu" for 2.
A decent meal in Gaillac. I had roast veal to share with one other which was delicious, plus lots of delicious snacks (the croquettes in particular a real winner).
Nice looking wine list but was driving so didn't get to sample much
I've visited 4 times in previous years and always had a good experience. This time the food was cold and overcooked and we'd waited an hour for the food to arrive. The two ladies serving were very polite and apologetic about everything (5* for them), but there is a very arrogant male waiter who took our cold food back and just reheated it, causing it to be even more overcooked and dry. After complaining to him, he didn't say anything to us, just ignored us and told the other servers not to talk to us, actually calling their names and putting a finger up to his lips to indicate they should stop talking to us. No offer in any way to put the food right. I feel like I got tourist treatment on another level. Not what I expect from somewhere recommended in Michelin guide.
Recommend you choose another restaurant (unless you are best friends with the arrogant male waiter).
Good restaurant and nice position
What a shame . We went as a family of 8 for what we hoped would be a lovely meal . In short we had to wait an hour for our food which arrived cold . The 3 children were also having to wait an hour 😢. When we told the waiter , he said nothing to us but came and wisked mine and my husbands plates away while rest of family ate their food . He came back about 10 mins later with same food but had been put under grill to heat it up . Not acceptable for a plate of good we are paying 19€ for 🤷♀️. No apology . No offer of any reduction in price or even a bottle of wine .
We will not be going back . Which is a shame as we live locally and like to support local business .

Celebrated a birthday with a great lunch here. Right in the centre of Gaillac. Intimate atmosphere, great staff and wonderful food. Highly recommended.
High quality wine bar and restaurant, cuisine a good blend of modern and traditional qualities,reasonable prices. Clean and light contemporary aesthetic. Friendly service. Owned by three local winemakers known for their originality. Busy at lunch time.
In the center of Gaillac, the heart of the Gaillac AOP in the department Tarn, locally nicknamed the little Toscany, you find this superb restaurant that combines modern and traditional cuisine. Lovely and helpful staff. Really delicious food combined with local wines made of local varieties, most of them bio, bio dynamic and natural wines with a lot of character very tasty. Coming from se of the best Gaillac wineyards. Great place to be.
